Initiated by the German Association for Palliative Medicine, the German Hospice and Palliative Care Association, Hospice Austria and the EAPC Task Force on Volunteering an international symposium „Volunteers at the heart of Hospice and Palliative Care – Opportunities and Challenges 2030“ took place on May 25th in Berlin, at the ESTREL Congress Centre. More than 300 participants from countries across Europe took part. It was the last day of the European Association for Palliative Care 16th World Congress in Berlin with more than 3.000 delegates from 100 countries.

Initiiert von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Palliativmedizin, der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Hospiz- und Palliativmedizin, Hospiz Österreich und der EAPC Task Force on Volunteering fand am 25. Mai in Berlin im ESTREL Congress Center ein internationales Symposium zum Thema "Ehrenamtliche im Herzen der Hospiz- und Palliativversorgung – Chancen und Herausforderungen 2030" statt. Mehr als 300 Teilnehmer aus ganz Europa nahmen daran teil. Es war der letzte Tag des 16. Weltkongresses der European Association for Palliative Care in Berlin mit mehr als 3.000 Delegierten aus 100 Ländern.
